What you get

What your 49 € buys

Pro, with no subscription

You pay once, and that is it. No monthly fee, no renewal, nothing to cancel.

The Pro as it grows

Everything that comes to enrich the Pro offer will be part of your Founding Member access too.

Founding Member status

You climb aboard while we are still building the road. You are one of the first 100 to join us, quite simply.

Your feedback reaches us directly

You tell us what works, what annoys you and what you are missing. It reaches us directly, not a black box.

Your Pro

Pro really changes the road.

You route around one town. You avoid tolls and ferries. That is the heart of the product, and it will stay that way.

Pro goes further: you genuinely personalise your route.

Choose the towns you would rather leave aside

With Pro, you choose the size at which a town becomes too big for your journey: 100,000, 50,000, 20,000 or 10,000 inhabitants. La Route Buissonnière then tries to avoid every town above that threshold.

You set the limit.

Bring out what is worth the detour

  • The village you would probably never have thought of stopping in.
  • The viewpoint you would have driven past without lifting your foot.
  • The perfect spot to get the sandwiches out.

You switch on whatever appeals to you today, and La Route Buissonnière shows you what there is to discover along the way.

Villages · Monuments · Viewpoints · Picnic · Walks · Petrol · Motorhome

And if what you really want today is greenery?

The Green Route compares several ways of getting there and favours the calmer, greener ones, without sending you on an unreasonable detour.

In this example: 15 minutes more. Two nature parks on the way.

Two hours on the road? Time for a break.

On long journeys, around the two-hour mark, La Route Buissonnière looks for a picnic area near your route and can add it as a stop.

After two hours, your legs deserve to see the country too.

And while you are watching the landscape…

La Route Buissonnière also keeps an eye on the practical side:

  • Weather along the way
  • Estimated cost
  • Petrol stations and fuel prices

The proof

Good news: you are not buying an idea.

It is already on the road.

25+testers

are currently using La Route Buissonnière on Android in closed testing.

They tell us what gets in the way, what they like and what they would like to see change. We look at the data, we fix things, and we head back out to test.

  • Android closed testing
  • Feedback from the road
  • We fix, we set off again
I work on La Route Buissonnière every day. I drive with it, I record my journeys, I look at what goes wrong and I fix it. Then I head back out to test on the road.

Why this offer exists

An independent project, kept alive only by the people who use it

  • No advertising
  • No selling of data
  • No investors to satisfy

No advertising. No selling your data. No investors to repay. Which means nothing pushes us to route you somewhere we would not want to go ourselves.

It also means the project moves at the pace of what we can put into it. That is what the Founding offer is for: getting to the end of the road.

What your support makes possible

What it actually changes

Your support does not fund one particular line of spending. It funds time: the time it takes to drive, measure, and start again.

Making a GPS that makes you want to drive means covering a lot of ground. Every trip is filmed, every second of navigation is measured, every fault is replayed before it is fixed. It is slow, it is stubborn, and it is the only way to get a road that keeps its promise.

And because we would rather show you behind the scenes than ask you to take our word for it, we started the Journal des Éclaireurs.

We show you everything

Le Journal des Éclaireurs

We film the real journeys, the tests, the moments when it works and the ones when it goes completely wrong.

You can follow the adventure, episode after episode.

What comes next

Your Pro will grow with the road.

Among the directions we want to take La Route Buissonnière:

Illustration: the red Super 5 driving away towards the horizon, the road splitting into several paths

The little hare could well become your co-pilot.

A travelling companion, spoken, in the shape of the hare: asking it where to stop, for a viewpoint, for a walk, without taking your eyes off the road.

The idea: being able to talk to it while you drive, and letting it search around your route for you.

A route that takes more account of the way you travel.

Travel profiles — a motorcyclist's beautiful road is not a van's.

We would like the route itself to take more account of it.

A far more ambitious offline mode.

Offline maps by region, to head far from any network.

And to keep travelling even when the network lets you down.

And the road does not stop at the border.

We want to take La Route Buissonnière further, country after country, as soon as we can guarantee the same quality of data and routing there.

And the rest?

And we are keeping a few surprises under the bonnet.

These are directions of work, not delivery commitments: no date, no guarantee.

The difference

The most beautiful road, not the fastest

A little longer. Infinitely more beautiful.
